Youth in Action
PrecarioSity was a partnership of 9 partners from 8 countries that came together to build experience and capacity in the understanding of the phenomenon of precarious work.
Partners engaged youth in a joint youth activity to come on the same page on the topic and to research, create scenarios and share views on how precarious work is found in their contexts. The project empowered dialogue between youths about how young people are more vulnerable to the phenomenon as the labour market changes.
The partners also fostered common understanding about the stakeholders and players that are cultivating the phenomenon and what is driving them in this direction. It also picked the minds of youths, and of stakeholders how the precious work infringes on human rights unless managed and made the subject of constructive debate for a better social wellbeing for all.
