Training and Social Media Campaign with Anna Lindh Foundation
The project is part of the framework of the pilot phase of the project, “The Road to Inclusive Narratives” co-financed by the Government offices of Sweden (Swedish international Development Cooperation Agency). The project aims to the combat the spread of misinformation and disinformation with the practical implementation of knowledge acquired during the misinformation online training.
A key focus of the project is to convert this knowledge into tangible outputs and measurable results, ensuring effective and actionable responses to misinformation and disinformation.
VisMed is implementing activities that increase public awareness, encourage critical thinking, promote digital citizenship and empower vulnerable groups to have a stronger presence and voice in the digital landscape.
Launch of national digital campaign to raise awareness about the effects of misinformation and disinformation. The campaign includes engaging content for targeted local audiences with the creation of visuals and digital ads to maximise the reach and impact of the campaign.
Target Group: Youth, vulnerable communities, and general public in targeted regions affected by misinformation
Story telling
Emphasising how misinformation impacts particular communities by using storytelling method to provide real human stories about groups affected by misinformation, resulting in discrimination.
Media Partnerships
VisMed is establishing a partnership with a local or international media outlet and collaborate with a reporter or journalist to promote the campaign through an article, interview, or any other format that this outlet uses. This will bring significant visibility and high engagement levels with the use of diverse dissemination channels.
