Today we are unveiling a refreshed visual identity for Vision for the Med (VisMed) Association.
Our new logo is inspired by the Mediterranean olive branch, a symbol of peace, resilience and shared traditions across our region. It forms an open circle around our name, reflecting how we work: connecting people, organisations and communities around the Mediterranean rather than focusing on a single country or coastline.
The colours in the wreath draw from the landscapes we know well – sea, sun and earth – and from the diversity of lives and stories that shape the Mediterranean today. They echo our focus on cultural, economic, social and political wellbeing, on youth and education, on careers and participation in democratic life.
This change has been in motion for the past two years, as the organisation has progressively embraced a clearer Mediterranean identity in its projects, partnerships and communications. The new visual identity makes this direction more visible: it gives a recognisable face to the Med-centred work that has been growing inside Vision for the Med.
